謎の宣言…
私、去年の春に引越しをしまして。
引越しをきっかけに、新居にフロアマットを貼ったり、壁紙を貼ったり、キャットウォークを作ったりしたんですよ。
そしたら、そこからすっかりDIYにはまってしまいまして。
「好きでやってるんじゃない！必要に迫られてやっているのだ！！」
などど普段は申しておりますが、冷静に考えて趣味になってますね、はい^^;
初めてすぐに分かったことなんですが、DIYを普段着でやると
・汚れる！
・危ない！
・動きづらい！
と、な～んにも良いことないんですよね–;
そこでスケガワ、「普段着が汚れるなら、作業着を着ればいいじゃない！」とばかりに、
ユニフォーム販売店である自社でつなぎ服を購入したんです！

いや、この写真、実はこれから家の外の壁に漆喰を塗ろうとしてるときで…
スーパー本気のDIYスタイルでして、長靴にゴム手、謎のバンダナ…おしゃれ感ゼロです。
しかし、実物は可愛いのですよ！
ちゃんと平置きするとこんな感じ！

本店ではまだ載せてない商品ですが、他店舗では販売中です。(ただ売り切れていれば、時期的に今期はもう作らないと思います…)
これを買ったおかげで、汚れを気にせずガシガシDIYに励めるようになりました！

余談ですが、何故春夏物を購入したのかと言うと、お洗濯がラクだし、秋冬はインナーを着れば十分対応できるからです。
汚れるものですから、着るたびに洗いたいので、一日干せばほぼ100%乾く春夏物をチョイスしました！
家の中の棚つくりや、キャットタワー作り等は、過去の仕事を活かして設計しております。
実は過去に、テクニカルイラストレーターという、一般的にあまり馴染みのないお仕事を経験しておりまして、それが今になっていろんな趣味に役立っているんですよ。
↑テクニカルイラストレーターって、こういった感じのイラストを描くお仕事なんですが、
描くというよりは、専用のソフトを使って、図面を見ながら数値を入力していくとイラストができる、というような感じなんですよ。
だから、実際あんまり「イラスト描いてる」っていう感覚はないんですが、正しく数値を入れると「おおっ！イラストできてるし！こんな装置だったんだ！」という謎の感動と興奮を覚える不思議な仕事なんです^^;
はい、話が少々脱線しました。
この仕事の経験がどのように役に立っているのかと言うと、このとき使っていたソフトを利用すると、簡単に設計ができる上に、設計図もすぐにアウトプットできるんですよ。
なので、ちょっとした家具の配置や工作のための製図はもちろん、私は洋服などの型紙までこのソフトを使って作成するんです。
フリーハンドより正確ですし、圧倒的に早い。
めちゃくちゃ役に立っています！
「こんな仕事、他のどこで役に立つの？」
と思われるようなお仕事も、意外なところに可能性が広がってるんですね。感謝、感謝。
